TEXT: The Watsons Loyalty Programme is an app-based rewards scheme available to our loyal customers. The programme allows you to earn 1 point for every dirham spent online, as well as in any of our physical stores in the UAE.

TITLE: How do I join the loyalty programme?
TEXT: You can join the Watsons loyalty programme in 2 quick and easy ways.

  1. Register a new account on the Watsons website and you’ll automatically become part of the programme.
  2. You can also visit any of our physical stores in the UAE and ask one of our staff to sign you up to the programme.

TITLE: Will I get a physical card?
TEXT: No. With the Watsons loyalty programme, there’ll be no need for a physical card.

TITLE: How do I earn points with online purchases?
TEXT:

That’s easy! If you’re already a loyalty member, make sure to indicate the mobile number registered to your loyalty account when checking out.

If you’re not yet a loyalty member, we’ll create a loyalty account for you as you place an order on the website. To do this, simply indicate the mobile number you want to use with your loyalty account at checkout.

Once you're registered to the loyalty programme, you'll earn points on your next purchase.

TITLE: How do I earn points when shopping in the store?
TEXT: At the till, provide the mobile phone number you used to register to the Watsons Loyalty Programme. Our store staff will make sure to credit your points to your loyalty account.

TITLE: I signed up to the loyalty programme through a physical store. How can I make sure to earn loyalty points when I make online purchases?
TEXT: There are 2 ways you can do this:

  1. Register a Watsons website account using the mobile phone number you used to sign up to our loyalty programme in the store. You’ll then earn loyalty points on the same account every time you sign in and place an order.
  2. Alternatively, if you’re checking out as a guest on the website, you can also indicate the mobile number associated with your store loyalty account at Review & pay step.

TITLE: What other benefits do I get from the loyalty programme
TEXT: You’ll also get the following benefits when you register to the loyalty programme:

  • 200 Welcome bonus points
  • 2x your current points on your birthday
  • 2x your current points on your membership anniversary

    TITLE: Can membership to the programme expire?
    TEXT: Membership to the loyalty programme is for an unlimited duration. However, if you haven’t earned points or made a purchase on your loyalty account for 3 consecutive years, your account will be deactivated and any points you have accumulated will be lost.

    TITLE: Do I need to earn a minimum number of points to use my points to pay for a purchase?
    TEXT: Yes, you need to earn a minimum of 100 points to use your points to make a purchase.

    TITLE: How can I check my most recent transactions?
    TEXT: You can check your most recent transactions by signing into your account on the website or app, accessing Account overview and selecting View transaction history on the loyalty programme.

    TITLE: How do I use loyalty points to pay for my online order?
    TEXT: To use points to pay, make sure to link your loyalty mobile phone number to your website account. You can do this by following these steps:

    1. Access Account overview and select Link now to use points to pay in the loyalty programme tile.
    2. Select Send OTP on the pop-up message and we'll send an OTP to your registered mobile number.
    3. Enter the correct OTP and select Validate. You'll then be able to use loyalty points to pay for your next order.

    TITLE: Can I pay for part of my order using loyalty points and pay for the rest using another payment method?
    TEXT: Definitely! Just make sure to follow these steps:

    1. Sign into your Watsons account either before choosing your products or while on checkout.
    2. When you get to the Review & pay step in the checkout process, make sure to tick the Pay with loyalty points option.
    3. Indicate the amount in AED that you want to use for the current order. Be guided by your available loyalty points displayed on the upper right corner of the box. Select Apply to use loyalty points on your order.
    4. Next, select your preferred payment method for the remaining order amount. You can either choose to pay through credit/debit card, or cash on delivery.

    TITLE: I used loyalty points to pay for an order or a product(s) that was returned/cancelled. Will I get the corresponding loyalty points credited back to my account?
    TEXT: That depends on the payment method you opted for and whether your order was returned/cancelled partially or in full. Here’s a summary to clarify whether or not your loyalty points will be credited back to your account:

    • Your loyalty points will be credited back to your account in the following cases:
      • You used ONLY loyalty points to pay and returned your order in full or partially
      • You used ONLY loyalty points to pay and 1 or more products in your order was cancelled
      • You used loyalty points to pay for PART of your order and returned your order in full
      • You used loyalty points to pay for PART of your order and cancelled your order in full
    • In the instances listed below, you'll receive your refund as a monetary value first. If there's any remaining amount to be refunded, you'll get this as loyalty points credited back to your account.
      • You used loyalty points to pay for PART of your order and returned your order partially
      • You used loyalty points to pay for PART of your order and your order was cancelled partially

    TITLE: I’m entitled to a refund of my loyalty points. How do I get it credited back to my account?
    TEXT: We'll be more than happy to help you with this. Just give us a call at 800-WATSONS (800-9287667) to request this. Don’t forget to give us the invoice details related to the purchase to be refunded.

    TITLE: How long will it take for my refunded loyalty points to reflect in my account?
    TEXT: The entire process will take up to 7 working days.

    TITLE: I used loyalty points and another payment method to pay for an order or product(s) that was later cancelled or returned in full. Can I get my entire refund as a monetary value?
    TEXT: This is not possible. You’ll only get a monetary refund that is equal to the actual amount you paid using cash or your bank account. Similarly, loyalty refunds cannot be more than what you actually paid using your loyalty points.

    TEXT: Yes, you can! Just get in touch with us at 800 WATSONS (800-9287667) and let us know that you want to change the mobile number linked to your loyalty account.
